The Log


The Log is a playable 12-inch record created from a slice of a tree, that archives the most popular songs from the US/UK.

Each year, a tree forms new cells, arranged in concentric circles called annual rings or annual growth rings.

Each of the 72 rings on the record contain audio from the most popular song of the corresponding year from 1946 - 2017.
